ONGOING RESEARCH PROJECTS:
Mobility, Migrations and Refugees in East Africa: The Case of Uganda (2020-2025)
Research developed in collaboration with the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of Makerere University (Uganda). It investigates human mobility in East African regions, its dynamics, and the solutions adopted by the countries involved.
Two areas of investigation have been identified in Uganda: on one hand, refugee settlements in the West Nile region; on the other, the phenomenon of urban refugees, most of whom live in the capital, Kampala.
